Life Story Edward Thomas Tull, husband
of Rosa "Rose" Mary Manns, was the youngest of seven children
born to William and Nancy Tull. He was born in Stockton, Maryland on May
7th, either in 1865 (death certificate) or 1867 (census records). According
to the 1880 census, Edward's father was a farmer; one brother was a laborer
and another one an "assistant." Before 1900, he and at least
one brother, Charles, moved from the Eastern Shore of Maryland to Philadelphia
where they went into business together. Edward married Rosa Manns on September
4, 1885 when he was 28 to 30, and she was 20. |
