Martin Joseph Scheling was a musician who lived in Fulda, Germany. No birth, marriage or death records for him could be found; however, a marriage record for his daughter, Josepha, provided his name, occupation and the fact that he died before 1854, the year of his daughter's marriage. He married Anna Marguerita Denner sometime before 1832 and had at least two daughters, Josepha, born in 1832 and Elizabeth, born in 1835. He and Anna may also have had a son, Martin and possibly other children as well.
