Life Story

Rose Marion Pappert was born.....

She taught elementary grades at St. Aloysius, Ridgewood, 1936-52; Holy Spirit, New Hyde Park, L.I., 1952-55; St. Patrick, Huntington, L.I., 1955-60; Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Lindenhurst, L.I., 1960-68; and St. Joseph Mountain School, Monticello, N.Y., 1968-70.

For 24 years, she served as head of the math department at St. Martin’s School, Amityville, 1970-94.

When she retired from teaching in 1994, she began a new ministry along with Sister Agnes Wassmer, O.P., as “The Dynamic Duo Volunteer Team,” serving St. Martin’s School in various ways.
